Avril Lavigne is accusing Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, 32, of bullying her ex husband, Chad Kroeger. Zuckerberg was testing Morgan Freeman-voiced AI, Jarvis when he said “Play us some good Nickelback songs”. The device responded by saying “I’m sorry Mark, I’m afraid I can’t do that, there are no good Nickelback songs.” Zuckerberg then snapped, “Good. That was actually a test”.
While Zuckerberg may have considered that a joke, Lavigne is calling that bullying and took to her Twitter to voice her disapproval:
…Many people use your products – some people love them and some don’t. Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion however, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste.
When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially giving what’s going on in the world today…
Jarvis, is an artificial intelligence assistant created by Zuckerberg this year that can control appliances, play music, recognize faces and, perhaps most impressively, entertain his toddler.
