President-elect Donald Trump told the New York Times he spoke with the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook and asked him “to build a big plant in the United States”. Trump promised during the campaign to cut tax for businesses. If he follows through on that promise Apple could be one of the biggest beneficiaries. Trump said he made that request when Tim Cook gave him a call. He assured Cook there will be “incentives” for Apple to bring back jobs to America and build a big plant.
While Trump has reneged on some of his campaign promises after election night. He reiterated there will be “a very large tax cut for corporations” during his visit to the New York Times.
